Susan Hutsko has been a glass artist since 1978. Her craftsmanship and artistry have been a source of inspiration for many artists. Her work can be viewed at www.susanhutsko.com.
Three years ago Susan successfully battled breast cancer. Unfortunately, she is now being faced with another battle – head and neck cancer. Her cancer is rare and requires the specialized care provided at the MD Anderson Center in Houston. Susan will be out of work for a minimum of two months while she receives treatment in Houston. She will also have to live in Houston during her 6 weeks of radiation treatment.
Fundraiser Event:
The Make Susan Laugh fundraiser was a phenomenal success. Thank you to everyone who participated! You have helped Susan on her journey of healing by allowing her to focus on her healing. A significant amount of Susan and Bob's out-of-pocket expenditures will be covered by the proceeds of this raffle. Susan is expected to finish her radiation treatment at MD Anderson on September 13th. She then begins the recovery process. Her prognosis is good. She posted recently on her CaringBridge Journal:
